What should I do if I am charged for purchases that I did not make?

If you do not recognize the purchase, make sure that no member of your family has made it, as it is possible that your child has played an online game that was charged to your account.

If you find out that the payment was not authorized or was made accidentally, contact Google for help. Before you do that, please make sure that you have logged in the system with the Google account that is associated with the purchase.

To avoid unauthorized or accidental purchases, please install a mandatory authentication request before each purchase. It can be done in the Settings section of the Google Play mobile app by selecting Require authentication for purchases. More information is available here.

You can also lock the device by setting a PIN code or a password.
