When VoWi-Fi comes in handy

    If a phone is located at a similar distance between two base stations, it may switch between them frequently, causing temporary interruptions in the connection.

    If the work place is in the lowland, it may be difficult for mobile waves to travel in a straight line to reach it.

  • Signal-proof construction

    This is caused by the building's structural materials that considerably block the call signal, or from basements where the mobile network does not reach at all.

How to connect VoWi-Fi

VoWi-Fi is currently available on Apple, Google Pixel and Samsung Galaxy S25 series phones. VoWi-Fi will soon be available on other Android devices – stay updated with information from device manufacturers.

Follow these steps

  • Step #1

    Make sure your phone has the latest version of the software (iOS – at least 17.4, Android – at least 15.0). Update if necessary.

  • Step #2

    Search for call or connection settings in your phone settings and activate Wi-Fi calls.
