How is internet traffic measured?
It is calculated in the following units:
- 1 B (byte) = 8 bits
- 1 KB (kilobyte)= 1024 B
- 1 MB (megabyte) = 1024 KB = 1048576 B
- 1 GB (gigabyte) = 1024 MB = 1048576 KB = 1073741824 B
Remember, that internet speed is calculated in bits, but traffic in bytes.
