New NIS 2 Directive – cybersecurity requirements in the Europe Union
The NIS2 Directive (lv) adopted in 2022, compared to NIS 1, covers a significantly wider number of industries that must comply with the new cybersecurity regulations. The requirements of NIS 2 in Latvia will be determined by the National Cyber Security Law (lv) and the binding Cabinet of Ministers regulations (still in the drafting stage).
