      Top up your LMT Karte account with a text message!

      Every LMT postpaid customer can conveniently top up the account of any LMT prepaid card user via text message! Send a SOS-SMS, and within 5 minutes the person you care about will be able to call, send text messages and use the internet again, but the amount you set aside for replenishing the account will be included in your next LMT invoice.

      You can top-up your LMT Karte account in two ways.

      • One-off – top up whenever necessary, with an amount from 1.42 € to 21.34 € per day.

      • Regularly – apply for a monthly top-up, and your specified amount of money from 1.42 € to 42.69 € will be credited to the account of the specific LMT Karte on the last day of each month – until you cancel this option. You can change the amount as needed.

      The most convenient way to top up the LMT Karte, change the selected amount, apply and cancel the monthly top-up in My LMT, by authorizing with Smart-ID, eSignature or internet banking. But you can also do all this via text messages. Check it out in the table to know what to do and text* to 1643.

      Please note!

      • A space is used between positions in text messages.
      • Only one LMT Karte can be topped up with one text message.
      • The minimum amount for which the LMT Karte can be topped up is 1.42 €.
      • You can top up one or more LMT Karte for any amount up to 21.34 € per day, but no more than 42.69 € per month. Between euros and cents, a separating symbol is used – a period or a comma.


      • When the LMT Karte account has been topped up, you will always receive an informative text message, while we will send the LMT Karte user a text message about which number has topped up his/her account and for what amount.
      • Regular top-up of the LMT Karte – regardless of the date it is applied for – takes place on the last day of the month.
      • Regardless of the date on which you cancel the regular LMT Karte top-up, it is disabled from the following month. Therefore, in the new LMT invoice you will receive, the LMT Karte top-up amount will be included for the last time. In the future, the LMT Karte will no longer be topped-up.
      • It is also possible to top up an LMT Karte that has expired, but no more than 6 months have passed since its expiration. As soon as the account is topped up, LMT Karte can be used again!
      • LMT Karte advance validity and usage terms are assigned depending on the top-up amount. To find out more, check it out HERE.

      • Legal entities are prohibited from using the service. If there is a need to allow certain numbers to be added to the LMT Karte, this must be indicated in My LMT or an application must be submitted to the LMT Customer Centre.
      • Before using LMT services, please read the data processing information provided by LMT. As a data controller, LMT pays the greatest attention to these issues. As part of the services provided by LMT, we process data only to the necessary extent and time period, which results from the nature of the service and the requirements of binding laws and regulations. As part of the SOS-SMS service, basic data can be processed, such as connection number, etc., as well as electronic communications metadata, including load data – information related to the provision of electronic communications services. The purpose of the data to be processed is to implement the performance of the selected service, including ensuring the related quality, payments and resolution of the reported issues, if they arise, as well as the execution of the binding laws and regulations. The basis of data processing is the requested LMT service and the implementation of related laws and regulations. Such processing is a prerequisite for the execution of the transaction, and failure to provide data may partially or completely delay or terminate the provision of the transaction. With regard to his/her data, the LMT customer has the right to exercise the rights set forth in the laws and regulations.       • While in Latvia, texting to 1643 is FREE!

      • When you are abroad, you have to pay for texting to 1643 according to the text message tariffs of the operator of the specific country.
      • The LMT Karte account top-up amount is not included in the monthly fee of the tariff plan.
