If you need internet on a tablet or you already have a modem or it is built into your laptop, we offer to buy only a prepaid mobile internet SIM card. You can do it at any LMT Customer Centre throughout Latvia.

TARIFF PLANS

Prepaid Mobile Internet offers two tariff plans: DAY un WEEK. You can choose the option that best suits your needs and internet usage habits.

Initially, the Prepaid Mobile Internet SIM card is activated for a WEEK, but you can change it at any time by sending a text message** with the abbreviation of the desired tariff plan to the number 29202010. Changing the tariff plan is free of charge.

*** If you have purchased "OKarte Internet on a Computer" or "Prepaid Internet on a Computer", the amount of Internet specified in the package will be available – 5 GB (for a Day) and 50 GB (for a Week).

IMPORTANT!

• After the tariff plan period expires, the fee for a new period will be charged when you connect to the Internet again.
• If you use up the amount included in the tariff plan, when you open the Internet browser, a page will appear where we will offer several options –to buy a new period, change the tariff plan or use the Internet with a fee per megabyte. Choose the most suitable one and confirm!
  You can also purchase a new period of the connected tariff plan by sending a free of charge text message** AP to the number 29202010. On the other hand, to change the tariff plan with a text message, send a free of charge text message** DI (for a Day) or NED (for a Week) to the same number.
• The tariff plan has been changed as soon as you receive a confirmation text message.
• The fee for an internet session is calculated taking into account the tariff plan that is valid at the time of its initiation.
• Sending of MMS to Tele2 and Bite network – 0.06 €/unit.
• If you are not sure and want to specify which tariff plan you are currently using, send a free of charge text message to IP number 29202010.
• If you want to find out free of charge the remaining amount of internet in Latvia and the time you can spend it, send ITP? to the number 1688. You will receive an answer within a few minutes.

HOW TO START USING

1. Insert the SIM card into the modem. If you have purchased a prepaid mobile internet package, the SIM card is already built into it.

2. Connect the modem to the laptop.

At the first connection, the Run Autorun.exe button will appear on the screen – click on it. If it does not appear, open it in My Computer–> LMT Internet –> Explore or Open –> AutoRun.exe

3. Open the internet browser on your laptop and start using the internet!

At the first connection, the modem management page will appear in the browser, where you will have to enter the PIN1 code – so that you do not have to enter it every time, mark "Remember my selection" next to the PIN code entry.

If the connection to the internet is not successful, it is possible that the LMT internet settings are not specified in the device:

The Prepaid Mobile Internet card account can be topped up in two ways – with a renewal card or a check, or without it – using the options offered by banks, as well as on the website and in LMT Customer Centres.

HOW TO CONTROL AN ACCOUNT

You can find out the balance of the advance in two ways.

Important

• The Prepaid Mobile Internet SIM card must be activated in Latvia! You won`t be able to do it abroad.
• Prepaid Mobile Internet SIM card cannot be used for calling.
• Accounting step for the tariff plan DAY is 24 h, for WEEK – 168 h.
• The first internet session must be performed within the validity period of the card indicated on the package.
• When you finish using the internet, remember to terminate the internet session!
