HOW TO START USING

• On a tablet – you only need a special LMT mobile internet SIM card to insert into the tablet.
• On a laptop – if you don`t have a laptop with a built-in mobile internet modem, you will only need a special LMT mobile internet SIM card, which must be inserted into the modem that you will connect to the laptop.

These devices, as well as a mobile internet connection, can be purchased at a favorable price in the LMT e-store, as well as in the nearest LMT Customer Centre. We will help you with advice so that you can choose the type of mobile internet and device that best suits your needs. We recommend that you also take a look at the user manual of the device, but feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

Change of connection type

If it turns out that another type of internet connection is more suitable for yoy, you can change it at any time – it is most convenient to do it at My LMT. The same can be done at any LMT Customer Centre, as well as via a text message – text* MI1, MI15 vai NMI to the number 1688

Please note! If you are using a device that does not support text messaging (e.g., Apple iPad), insert your SIM card into any other mobile phone and send a text message from it.

WHEN THE INTERNET VOLUME IS USED UP

If you use the MOBILE INTERNET connection 1 GB or 15 GB

When the included amount of internet is used up, you can buy a one-time additional amount (only for Mobile Internet 1 GB), connect another type of mobile internet or use the internet with a fee per megabyte.

If additional volume is needed occasionally or only in special cases, we offer the opportunity to purchase 1 GB of internet for 2.99 € with a validity period until the end of the month via a text message. Open the modem program on your laptop and send the text message* APJOMS to the number 1688. If you are using a device that does not support text messaging (e.g. Apple iPad), you can also send the text message from any LMT postpaid mobile phone (the fee for the internet volume will be included in the LMT invoice of this customer). In that case, you should write APJOMS and your mobile internet connection number in the text message* (e.g. APJOMS 12345678).

Remember!

• Mobile internet in the 4G network can be used with a suitable 4G tablet, mobile internet modem or laptop with a built-in 4G mobile internet modem that supports the LMT 4G network frequency, and you also need to be in the LMT 4G coverage area.

Sending text messages from a computer program

If mobile Internet is used on a laptop with a modem (or a tablet that provides text messaging), it is possible to send and receive text messages from the computer program.

Mobile internet abroad

If you are going outside of Latvia, be sure to bring your laptop and modem with you. After spending the included amount of internet in the EEA countries – take advantage of Internet while Traveling!

As part of the MOBILE INTERNET ON A LAPTOP OR A TABLET service, basic data can be processed, such as name, surname, connection number, etc., as well as electronic communications metadata, including load data – information related to the provision of electronic communication services. The purpose of the data to be processed is to implement the performance of the selected service, including ensuring the related quality, payments and resolution of the reported issues, if they arise, as well as the execution of the binding laws and regulations. The basis of data processing is the requested LMT service and the implementation of related laws and regulations. Such processing is a prerequisite for the execution of the transaction, and failure to provide data may partially or completely delay or terminate the provision of the transaction. With regard to his/her data, the LMT customer has the right to exercise the rights set forth in the laws and regulations. COSTS

• Connection of Mobile Internet – free of charge.
• The fee for sending MMS to the Tele 2 and Bite network, the fee for text messages and premium services are not included in the fixed monthly fee.
• If you plan to use LMT mobile internet also outside the borders of Latvia or other EEA countries, please check the internet tariffs in foreign countries in time.
• You can send standard text messages and MMS in the LMT network and to e-mail FREE OF CHARGE, as well as use premium rate text message services.
• Sending MMS and text messages to the Tele2 and Bite network, as well as abroad – 0.06 €/unit.
