What is the network code?
Network code is a technical code for the operator’s network occasionally used to identify the chosen network abroad if it cannot be identified by name.
The code consists of a country code – a three digit number or the standard abbreviation for the state – and a two-digit network code. Each notwork code is linked with a specific network name.
The network is the name that the operator uses to identify itself in the country of residence. It can be indicated in full or as an abbreviation. The network name is pre-programmed in your phone, and it is able to display only the names that were in existence at the time of its manufacture.
