How to protect children from unwanted content online?
To protect your children from unwanted information online (cruel behaviour, violence, erotica, pornography and contents affecting child's mental health), we recommend to set up one of free online content filters or choose LMT service Internet Guard enabling to limit the time your child spend in social networks and various sites, as well as to protect the child from unwanted content.
There is an option to protect your laptop and smartphone otherwise.
- Activate “Safe search” on Google search in the settings.
- Activate YouTube “Restricted mode” on devices used by children.
- Use parental software offered by Google Play and Apple helping to filtrate the internet content to make it suitable for a child, e.g., Family Link and Family Sharing, Kaspersky Safe Kids, Norton Family etc.
- Deactivate notifications on your child's smartphone to stop constant offering to view content on social networks.
Bear in mind! Nothing can replace conversation! Talk to your child about safe and responsible use of the internet!
