How to react to a call or a text message about participation in a lottery or winning?

Be prudent! If you have not participated in any lotteries and if the caller does not seem trustworthy, it is highly probable that this is a malicious call or text message. If you have any doubt, contact the company that the caller represents. If you are asked for any personal information (identity code, account number, etc.) during such calls or texts, never disclose it!
