How to start using

You only need a SIM card for Internet for Home I, which must be inserted into the router. Apply here on the LMT website or at the nearest LMT Customer Centre. If necessary, we will also provide professional installation free of charge.

* LMT provides devices required for the Internet for Home free of charge at the address indicated by the customer. The devices are the property of LMT, please read the terms of use and treat the devices with care. The router model depends on the LMT recommendation according to the place of use of the service and the selected service, as well as availability.

Costs

• Connection of the service – free of charge.

• "Internet for Home" (agreement for 24 months) subscription fee first 24 months 16.98 €/month, after – 25.99 €/month.

• Sign a Virši electricity agreement within seven days and enjoy a 100% discount on the “Internet for Home” subscription fee until the end of the next month.

• If the connection is cancelled during the first two years, the minimum fee of 128.64 € must be paid in the first month, this fee decreases by 5.36 € in each subsequent month.

Important

• Offer available with Virši electricity connection only during the promotion period  (24.10.2024–09.01.2025) and exclusively for private individuals.

• To get a 100% discount on the “Internet for Home” connection, both agreements must be signed within 7 days. The order of signing is irrelevant.  The discount will be applied starting from the month in which the second agreement is signed.

• If you change your mind and want to cancel the service “Internet for Home”, you need to inform us 3 days in advance HERE (lv). For any inquiries regarding electricity connection, please contact Virši customer service.

• The service is provided in locations with adequate LMT network coverage and capacity.

• LMT internet services include a cybersecurity solution. Please read the description of the solution!

• If LMT services are used in a way not intended for them, the systems can automatically limit or even stop the provision of a certain service. Please read the Fair Use Policy of LMT Services.

• Sending text messages is not available.

• Here you will find various questions and detailed answers about data transmission technologies and features, as well as about the quality of electronic communication services, incl. download and upload speeds.

• To ensure the security of your data and the router, always change the password set by the device manufacturer to a combination of symbols known only to you, and do not forget to do it again if the device has been updated to its factory settings. We also invite you to always take care of the security of your devices (computer, phone, tablet) by locking the screen.

• In order to ensure the integrity and security of the network and the provision of services at the appropriate quality, for solving the configuration issues necessary for the services and for the timely diagnosis of network problem situations, the technical protocol TR-069 can be integrated into the device that provides the exchange of relevant network parameters (e.g. signal levels, signal quality, network cells information, used frequency, network load information) of the device with LMT systems. Processing takes place in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and for the duration necessary for the specific purpose.

• Before using LMT services, please read the personal data processing information provided by LMT. As a data controller LMT pays the greatest attention to these issues. As part of the services provided by LMT, we process personal data only to the necessary extent and time period, which results from the nature of the service and the requirements of binding regulatory acts. As part of the "Internet for Home" service, basic data may be processed, such as name, surname, connection number, address of the connection point, data of the issued device (router) etc., as well as metadata of electronic communications, including load data – information related to the provision of electronic communications services. The purpose of the data to be processed is to implement the execution of the selected service, including ensuring the related quality, payments and solving the reported issues, if they arise, as well as the execution of the binding laws and regulations. The basis of data processing is the requested LMT service and the implementation of related laws and regulations. Such processing is a prerequisite for the execution of the transaction, and failure to provide data may partially or completely delay or terminate the provision of the transaction. With regard to his or her data, the LMT customer has the right to exercise the rights set forth in the laws and regulations.
