Developing urban mobility solutions for a better tomorrow

The futuristic vision of “intelligent mobility” is no longer a fantasy; it’s a realistic development often linked to computer vision capabilities. Thanks to the latest technological developments, we can now look forward to significantly decreasing the number of road traffic accidents and delays, neutralizing transportation’s effect on the environment, while maintaining personal security and privacy. This future, driven by computer vision and smart mobility solutions, will inevitably contribute to improved standards of living and economic growth.

Urban mobility in its current format faces various challenges, including growing emissions, accessibility issues, urban congestion, and more. These challenges can be addressed through the implementation of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), which can be configured to solve a wide range of mobility challenges. For example, real-time traffic monitoring can have implications for environmental, safety, and traffic improvements. Meanwhile, AI and computer vision can provide fast and precise analytics, thus adding the intelligence aspect to mobility.
